I’ve updated the Vector skin with complete array of accesskeys for navigation, actions, editing, etc., and have updated the default version of the Site/Preferences
page to provide default keybindings for all the new accesskeys. If you use Vector on your wiki, make sure to enable the new settings for your wiki by going to your Site/Preferences
page and saving a local copy (open the page in Edit view, then save it; you need not modify anything).1
The new accesskeys are:
.
- Switch to the Talk page for a wikipage.
,
- When on a Talk page, switch to the main article.
\
- Return to your wiki’s home page.
r
- Switch to Read (default) view.
e
- Switch to Edit view.
y
- Switch to page source view.
t
- View attributes for the current page.
h
- Switch to history (diff) view.
a
- Switch to Attach view (view attachments for the current page, or upload a new attachment).
m
- Copy, move, or rename the current page.
p
- Switch to Print view.
0
- Log in or out.
The following accesskeys apply when editing a page:
s
- Save changes.
u
- Save changes and return to edit view (keep editing).
p
- Preview changes.
i
- Italicize selected text.
k
- Bold selected text.
l
- Turn selected text into a link.
1 If you’ve made your own modifications to @@Site/Preferences, it’s up to you whether to discard your changes, merge them into the new shared version, or simply keep what you have. ⇑
