A sweet casserole made with noodles.

Ingredients
- 11⁄2 c raisins
- 1 egg (large)
- 16 oz. egg noodles
- 1⁄2 tsp salt
- 1 stick butter
- 2⁄3 c sugar
- 1⁄2 tsp nutmeg
- 5 eggs (large)
Instructions
- In small bowl, lightly beat 1 egg; combine with 11⁄2 c raisins; cover with plastic wrap, set aside.
1 hour passes
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Line 9″ baking pan (at least 2″ deep) with aluminum foil, and grease well.
- In salted water (with 1⁄2 tsp salt), boil 16 oz. egg noodles.
- Melt 1 stick butter.
- Drain noodles and transfer to large mixing bowl. Add melted butter.
- Add 2⁄3 c sugar and 1⁄2 tsp nutmeg.
- Add 5 eggs.
- Fold in raisins (from step 1).
- Transfer noodle mix to baking pan; cover with aluminum foil. Put in oven.
1 hour passes
- Remove kugel from oven and invert onto serving plate; remove foil.
- Let cool at least 10 minutes before eating.
